HUMAN CENTRED
RESEARCH

Keeping humans in the center of innovation is necessary. Everything we do today is surrounded by people, or made by people. This is why, everything we make, gets affected by a number of people. The more the people involved, the more the emotions. We are dealing with multitudes of unaccounted emotions that could change world economics. Human Centred research considers behaviour, emotions, culture, habits and other such aspects while understanding the situation. The idea is to generate a qualitative analysis of the situation in order to understand problems better. For this, I use multiple methods including - in-depth interviews, group study sessions, silent observation and analogous study of existing solutions.

QUALITATIVE SYNTHESIS

QUALITATIVE
SYNTHESIS

Of the qualitative research - a deep, therapeutic and disruptive synthesis would take place in order to formulate a problem statement. Sometimes what people say is the problem, might not be the actual problem. There is an adaptive path beyong the answers. People don't always say the truth, if they do there is a high likeliness of it being tampered by the current situation. Synthesis is done to cluster and coagulate into deeper insights. Mapping of consumer journeys and production processes helps in hilihgting loopholes to be resolved.

COLLABORATIVE IDEATION

COLLABORATIVE
IDEATION

If you have a 100 ideas, then you have a vague possibility of one idea to be viable. In everyone's perspectives, there can be a million ideas so you can have a better chance at solving the problem. Collaborative ideation is a small workshop, with the client and the users, to understand depth of the problem and then to just bombard the area with as many ideas as possible. From this problem statement and multiple level brainstorming, ideal solutions will be formulated to derive the desired impact. Collaborative ideation involves all stakeholders from clients to customers to indulge in diversified answers.

PROTOTYPE AND VALIDATION
Pie

PROTOTYPE AND
VALIDATION

Out of the ideas selected and merged, a few can be prototyped. The key rule in prototyping is to fail fast and use less resources until you are not failing anymore. You start when you have no idea if it sould work and land up in it's probable state. A minimum viable solution will be presented, evaluated and created to be tested with the desired audience in the desired time. This solution representing a minimum solution to the existing problem will then be iterated and validated based on insights derived through observation and intervention.

SUSTAIN & SCALE MATRICES

SUSTAIN &
SCALE MATRICES

Circular economy is one of the rarely used terms in design thinking. One part of it is to make sure, how to distribute as well reclaim after full utilisation. Responsibility is not towards just making the world a better place, but also towards making it cleaner and lighter. Second part is to deal with the same issue emotionally for people. We start with an entice, enter, engage, exit and extend model to get your idea running in the market. But once it has fulfilled it's duties, it must also disintegrate and evacuate.
